Standards

Planning Authorities will expect to see a report prepared by a suitably qualified and licensed ecologist to accompany planning applications where there is potential for impacts on protected species or valuable habitats to occur. To ensure you obtain your planning consent, our ecology services are conducted to the following standards:

  • Only suitably qualified and licensed ecologists conduct our surveys in line with standard industry practice set by e.g. Natural England and the Bat Conservation Trust.

  • All ecology reports are prepared in line with the Biodiversity Code of Practice for Planning and Development, BS 42020: 2013.

  • All ecology reports are verified by a Principal Ecologist and Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
